A 4th Place Finish Secures 4th in the Standings

Quamere ran a smart and solid race to secure a 4th place finish at Round 8 of the NJ MiniGP Race Series. It was a tight race throughout the field. When the 1st and 2nd place riders checked out to have their own battle for the win, Quamere found himself in a three-way battle for 3rd with Eziah Davis and Matt Fiorello. Quamere kept it together and ran a steady race in the 15-lap final to bring it home in 4th Place. Those 4th place championship points are important, as Quamere secures 4th Place in the season standings with only one round to go.

Going into NJ MiniGP’s Round 6, Quamere was right at the top with the leaders in the 2010 points standings. Unfortunately, he had a high-side in practice that put him out of Round 6. Even more unfortunately for Quamere was Round 6 paid double points. But with his determination, Quamere can mount a late-season comeback with two rounds to go.
He lost a lot of ground to the rest of the field but he came back in Round 7 with a solid 5th Place finish to get himself back on track.

First Race. First Trophy.

Quamere takes home the 3rd Place trophy in Round 1 of the New Jersey Mini Gran Prix Series at New Jersey Motorsports Park Avenger Circuit on May 2. It was his first full race on asphalt and the first race event on board his Honda NSR 50.

After only one outing in 2009 at a NJ MiniGP practice day and a couple practice days in 2010, Quamere came out swinging in the NJ MiniGP Season Opener. He was able to gap most of the field and stay in touch with race leaders Ryan Varnes and Alex Guerrierie for the entire race.

1st Race. 1st Trophy.
